Flowers are often thought of as motionless subjects. They don't run when you approach, they stay in the same place all day, and they don't try to bite you when get too close.

If there is one aspect of nature that seems to grab my attention and draw me in for a closer look, it is flowers.  There is just something about the inherent beauty of a flower; the wide variety of colors, shapes, and patterns that provides drama and interest to the landscape.  Whether growing wild in a field or prairie, deep in the forest, or in the back yard, flowers are all around to showcase the beauty of the natural world.
